Junior Pipeline TD
As a Pipeline Technical Director (Pipeline TD), you will be helping ensuring the smooth running of the tools, software and workflows used on our projects.
You will be providing technical support and assistance to artists, as well as developing new tools and scripts - predominantly in Python - to meet the specific show requirements.
Must haves
- writing structured python code
- Knowledge of the technical side of Maya
- loves to dig deep into software, finding very specific issues with specific scenes
- understanding of the 3D animation/vfx pipeline
- Doesn't mind to (hopefully occasionally) working outside office hours
- Good and patient at communicating with artists with a lack of technical knowledge. Chocolate is key!
- good at fixing different issues at the same time, while being stalked on Teams, without being overwhelmed.
- Can work independently, with some guidance from a very busy TD
Bonus points
- knowledge of html, php, mysql, javascript
- knowledge of Isotropix Clarisse, Houdini, Nuke
- some knowledge of renderfarms, servers and the IT side of running a studio
