Practical Information 3D & 2D Character Animation

Practical Information

The goal is to learn the animators to understand what credible character performance means and how to obtain this.

If you want reach a wider audience in animation, it is not enough to only understand the 12 principles of animation in a physical way. In the early days of the animation, simple characters dominated the animation entertainment industry. Over the years the personality of animation characters have become more complex and therefore more interesting for the parents too :). Young people and adults have, in contrast to young children, a wider range of values stored in their brain. They can understand more complex ideas like emotion, subtext and body language.

For who?

Animators with little or no experience in short and/or feature film.
